Permaculture Courses Permaculture (permanent agriculture) is a method of design and implementation of landscapes which imitate nature and provide for our material and non-material needs within a sustainable system.That is to say, it´s a kind of organic farming guided by thoughtful observation, seeking to integrate natural systems into our way of life, and vice versa. Our planet is in crisis, and we need to find ways to live without destroying the environment that sustains us. In our hands-on course you will gain the basic theory and skills you need to transform your home and community to a healthy, sustainable microsystem. Learn to make nature work for you - by helping, rather than harming it! This is the main principle of permaculture, to design for the optimal use of all our resources - even the ones we tend to consider a nuisance (weeds, pests, and garbage, for example)! By combining hands-on experience with an understanding of how nature works, you will learn how to manage what you have to create a balanced, nourishing environment that meets your needs.
